Terry Inspires

September 19th, 2008 by Nik

Last weekend, I ran the Terry Fox with my family in sunny Tsawwassen. The last time I ran the run was the original run in 1981. Jacquie, my wife, has organized school runs for many years and of course the kids have run at their school. This year it was special running as a family. Over the years Terry Fox has been a hero and an inspiration to me and so many others.  In 2005, PRP had the honour and pleasure of working with the Fox family and Terry Fox Foundation to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Terry’s “Marathon of Hope.”

The Final Day

September 1st, 2008 by Patrick

It’s Labour day and the final day of the Fair at the PNE – and two of the stars of our production of the Great Big Boo! took the honour of being the grand marshals of the PNE Toontastic Parade.  Thousands of guests lined the parade route for the final parade of the Fair.   Many of the kids along the parade route shouted out to Vinnie and Frankie.  The Fair is wrapping today – and we’re on to Halloween with the Great Big Boo !
