Olympic Ceremonies Auditions!

March 25th, 2009 by Ruth

With the start of the Olympic Games less than a year ago, we are all looking forward to the excitement that will fill the city of Vancouver.  Recently, VANOC announced a call for volunteer performers for the Olympics Opening & Closing Ceremonies.  They are seeking 4000 performers.  Soon it will be our turn for auditions with the Paralympic Opening and Closing Ceremonies.  Stay tuned to the PRP website for more details.

If you are interested in performing in both the Olympic & Paralympic Opening & Closing Ceremonies, please visit VANOC Ceremonies.

Ric’s 200th

March 5th, 2009 by Ruth

We, here at PRP, are very studios blood donors - every 56 days, the team carpools off to the Vancouver Blood Clinic to make our donations.  A few donations ago, we met Ric, who too is quite the habitual blood donor.  Ric quickly became a friend and honourary member of the PRP blood donor team and now schedules his donations to correspond with ours.  This past Tuesday was Ric’s 200th donation.  To reach this amazing feat, Ric has been regularly donating blood for more than 30 years.  This selfless act is true inspiration for all of us.  Congratulations Ric!

For information on how you too can become a blood donor, please visit Canadian Blood Services.  If you’re interested in becoming a member of the PRP blood donor team, please email us.
